Desire as path: Investigating fear, longing, and pleasure in group

Paul Bialek

Don’t miss Paul Bialek’s institute, “Taking Desire as Path,” at our upcoming annual conference!

The group will challenge members to talk about what they want, and to notice what makes this difficult or easy in any given moment during the group. A further challenge will be for members to speak about what happens when they get what they want. How do we create “nourishment barriers” for ourselves, paradoxically rejecting what we long for?

Paul Bialek MA, LPC, is an Associate Professor of Buddhist Psychology and Contemplative Psychotherapy at Naropa University. He is also a Psychotherapist in private practice in Boulder Colorado, working with individuals, couples, and groups.
